Medical Assistant
Medical Assistants often interview the patients to obtain information and measure vital signs, height and weight. They show the patients to the examination rooms and prepare them for the physicians. They also record statistics, health history and vital signs for the medical records. They explain the procedures to the patients. They authorize drug prescription information and direct you to a pharmacy. They greet and log in patients arriving at the clinic.
